NEW Wednesdays at Blackheath

Hi everyone,

We’re excited to launch Wednesdays at Blackheath, a new series of weekly events designed to bring a bit more variety, competition and fun to Wednesday evenings at the club.

Starting Wednesday 7th October, we’ll be running a different event every Wednesday from 6pm - 8pm, with a mixture of social tennis, competitive formats, tournaments and themed coaching clinics.

Over the first eight weeks, you can get involved in:

* 7th October - Coach/Member Mix-In
Partner with, or take on, the coaching team. Expect good tennis, a few tips and plenty of fun!
* 14th October - BLTC Americano
Fast-paced doubles with changing partners. Play with everyone and see who finishes top of the leaderboard.
* 21st October - Tennis & Drinks
A relaxed evening of social tennis, good rallies and a well-earned drink afterwards.
* 28th October - Serve & Return Clinic | £25pp
A focused coaching session designed to sharpen the two shots that start every point.
* 4th November - BLTC Mexicano
Win and move up! Your results determine your next court, partner and opponents.
* 11th November - Mixed Mystery Partner Tournament
Sign up individually and find out your partner on the night. Then battle it out for the title!
* 18th November - BLTC Team Showdown
Pick your colours and represent your team in a high-energy evening of doubles, points and team rivalry.
* 25th November - Attack the Net Clinic | £25pp
Learn how to move forward, take control of the net and become a more effective attacking player.

The aim is simple, to make Wednesday evenings at Blackheath something members look forward to each week. Some weeks will be competitive, some social and others focused on improving your game. You don’t need to commit to every Wednesday, simply choose the events you fancy and sign up.

To book:
Message James on 07506 587948 with the event name and date you’d like to attend.

Places will be limited depending on the format, so please please book early if there’s an event you particularly want to join. I won’t be able to accept anyone who has not pre booked.

We hope to see plenty of you on court!

Kind regards,
James Charman
